Annual General Meeting

We are seeking volunteers to fill the roles of;

Board Member

This role is not an onious one, comprising of 5-7 meetings annually. Technology allows these to take place on a variety of platforms that suit Board members ie: Skype, in person etc. It would be exciting to be inundated with possible candidates so please contact your local club for further details.

Grants and Funding Subcommittee

Swimming Otago Board wishes to form a Grants and Funding subcommittee made up of 3-4 people, more if there's interest, from across the region to drive our funding applications.

Tasks involved would be building relationships with Funding organisations,, consult with Member Clubs on their funding requirements, produce an annual funding plan, prepare and submit applications annually.

Funding organisations tend to be more favourable towards combined regional submissions and we want to reduce costs for our members, to do that we need your help!

Media Liaison Officer/s

To assist in raising the profile of our athletes, members and the sport of swimming across our Region via copy submissions pre-event, during events and post events to media outlets ie:Stuff, Otago Daily Times etc.
