  • Otago primary school students make a splash

    More than 300 Otago primary school students participated at the Otago Primary School Swimming Championships at Moana Pool in Dunedin on Sunday 26 March. It was a great day of racing, with lots of cheering and school spirit creating an awesome atmosphere at the venue. Congratulations to everyone who competed - we hope to see you again next year!

  • Future stars shine at Otago Junior Long Course Championships

    Our juniors were on fire at the Otago Junior LC Championships, notching lots of personal best times and four Otago records. It was fantastic to see the next generation of Otago swimmers giving it their all and having fun while doing it! We would like to extend a special thank you to Aotearoa Gaming Trust and Amigos for their support in making this competition possible.

  • Alan Hale Appointed to World Aquatics Swimming Officials List #22

    A big congratulations to our very own Alan Hale on being re-appointed to the World Aquatics Officials List as a Starter! Alan has been appointed to the Swimming Officials List #22, and is one of six New Zealanders to make the list.

    Congratulations to Oamaru's James Soal and Neptune's Olivia McLean on winning the Emerging Male and Female Talent Awards at this year's Network Waitaki Sports Awards.

  • Fun Filled Day of Racing in Cromwell

    What a fun-filled day of racing in Cromwell! After a number of COVID-19 related setbacks in past years, Cromwell Swim Club hosted their meet on Saturday 11 March. The event welcomed just around 100 athletes from across Otago, with lots of PBs broken and spot prizes won!

  • 78 Medals, 2 NZ Records, & an Otago Record at South Island LC Championships

    Otago athletes impressed at the South Island LC Championships, breaking a ton of personal best times and records, whilst bagging 66 Age Group Medals and 12 South Island Championship titles.

  • Fairweather Skyrockets to #8 Performer of All Time in 400m Freestyle

    Neptune's Erika Fairweather stunned the world in the Deep South at the South Island Long Course Championships, shattering her New Zealand record in the 400m Freestyle to become the 8th fastest woman of all time over the distance.

  • Back Racing in Balclutha for the First Time in a While

    What a great day of racing in Balclutha! Sunday 26 February brought back the Balclutha Interclub Meet after a number of years of cancellations. The event welcomed more than 80 athletes from across Otago and Southland, with lots of PBs being broken!

  • 145 PBs, 74 Top 3 Ribbons, and 3 Otago Records at South Island Junior Championships

    Congratulations to the 43 Otago athletes that competed at the South Island Junior Championships from 18-19 February 2023. It was a fantastic weekend of racing, with 145 personal best times recorded, 74 top 3 finishes, and 3 Otago records broken!
